  Only real negative is the fact that the kitchenette is locked and you need to interrupt the staff to open it just to get a snack or a drink. A little frustrating for us as i hate to take the staff away from their duty even though they don’t mind.

  The cafe is one of the best I have been to in the area. (Not many good cafes around) Lots to choose from. Great outdoors eating area and friendly staff.

  I had an overnight stay after an uncomfortable surgical procedure. The staff, from reception to the medical staff were nothing short of wonderful. Can't thank them enough for their care, dedication and friendliness. Highly recommended!

  This is a wonderful hospital and my husband Kenn Brown is being extremely well looked after. He is currently in I.C.U after having his aortic valve replaced on Monday 13 Nov. He is 71. My problem is, and I do realize that I should have checked visiting hours.....I arrived on Tuesday at about 12.15pm - he was of course very drowsy BUT just after 1pm I was told to leave because it was not visiting hours between 1 and 3 pm.!!!!! I spent just over $120 in return taxi fares that day from Scarborough and this was/is a very emotional time for wives and family. I am still so very upset at being 'kicked out'. I am not impressed and think more consideration should be given to spouses at this very upsetting time.. Update ... he is now moved to a ward (today is Wednesday) so I will visit him Friday and I have been told I can visit anytime. I do refuse to be kicked out ever again from seeing my quite ill husband.We pay a lot to have full private health insurance in order to be able to use one of the top private hospitals in the southern hemisphere. Some I.C.U staff need to be addressed for their lack of compassion.

  Our family has had the misfortune this year of requiring hospital stays at five different Brisbane hospitals both Public and Private hospitals and HSN was the best. The communication,staff friendliness and everyone actually doing what they said they were going to do was excellent.

  The recent care and service I received from the Doctors, Nurses & Staff at the Northside Holy Spirit Hospital can only be described as excellent. Thank you from a grateful patient.

  Staff are excellent. From the admissions desk all the way to theatre they are very caring and very professional. My 8 year old was looked after every step of the way after his operation. The nurses, doctors in fact every one should be commended.
